The chronically-delayed title from Team ICO is still "absolutely in the mix" over at Sony, as development on The Last Guardian apparently trudges on.
When asked by IGN about the status of the game, Sony's Scott Rohde replied by saying:
YouÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre going to be very frustrated by this answer, but it is 100 percent the GodÄ‚Ë€â„Ës honest truth, and that is that we want to make great games. And when we see that the public is so interested in a specific game, of course that drives us to want to complete that game. But it also drives us to want to make it great. We would not want to ship that game if we donÄ‚Ë€â„Ët think itÄ‚Ë€â„Ës great.
When pressed about whether the game is still a PS3 title or now for PlayStation 4, Rohde added that he still can't "announce what platform itÄ‚Ë€â„Ës coming on, whoÄ‚Ë€â„Ës working on it, whoÄ‚Ë€â„Ës involved. But that is still a title thatÄ‚Ë€â„Ës absolutely in the mix at Worldwide Studios. ThatÄ‚Ë€â„Ës the most youÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre gonna get."
Sony unwilling to discuss platforms and who's working on the heavily delayed title.
